Marquis, a young African American man is caught in the crossfire of societal expectations and personal responsibility. As he confronts the subtle and overt forces of discrimination, he finds himself challenged by his peers and authority figures, forcing him to make life-altering decisions. This story unfolds in a series of intense encounters, revealing the complexities of race, friendship, and self-identity.
